Burt Township Master Plan Amendment Review Period

We are pleased to announce that the draft of the Burt Township Master Plan Amendment is available for public review. The draft of the 2023 Master Plan Amendment is the result of more than a year of work by the Land Information Access Association and Planning Commission, CUPPAD staff, and the community at large.

After holding a regular meeting on December 12, 2023, the Burt Township Board voted to release the Draft Master Plan Amendment for public review. A 42-day public review period has now begun, per the requirements of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act.

The Burt Township Planning Commission will review all comments received, hold a public hearing at the close of the review period on February 1, 2024. The Burt Township Board will vote on final approval of the 2023 Master Plan Amendment thereafter.
