The Township Supervisor is the Township’s legal agent. They are responsible for moderating board and annual meetings, the secretary of the Board of Review and the chief assessing officer – overseeing the Township Assessor. The Township Supervisor is also a member of the election commission and appoints some of the other township commission’s members. Each fiscal year, they present the proposed budget to the board for review.
The Township Supervisor is not required to have a deputy and does not need to post a surety bond.
