- FTI: Attention all residents, tourists, family, and friends of Grand Marais… If someone calls the ambulance and the patient decides not to go to the hospital in the ambulance, the patient will be charged a fee of $150.00. This fee pays for the fast response time of your ambulance personnel that are on call. Medicare and Blue Cross will not pay this bill. You will be responsible for this fee.
- Meridian Construction has finished building our new restrooms, showers, and fish cleaning station at the Burt Township Marina. This is a great addition to our marina for all local fishermen and transient boating community. Thank you to Meridian for all your hard work and for completing this project in a timely manner.
- Garbage disposal for residents who come up to stay at their cabin/home for a week or two at a time can now drop their garbage off at Bayshore Market for a fee of $3.25 a bag. Thank you, Bayshore Market, for offering this service.
