Trustees

Township Trustees are township legislators and are required to vote on issues.  They are responsible for the Township's  fiduciary health.  The Township Board can assign the Trustees other duties.

Lois Leavenworth has been a Burt Township Trustee since November 2000. Lois is also a member of the Planning Commission.

L. Scott Wieting (Scott) was appointed on November 3, 2006 to fulfill the term vacated by Gordon Kniss until November 2008. He was Elected to office at the November 2008 General Election.
