Burt Township is always accepting applications, but is not always hiring. Please submit your application at any time so that we have it on file for future employment opportunities.

CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR:

Youth Program Director: Salary to be determined based on hours and budget constraints. Candidates will develop, implement and oversee structured recreational and educational activities for children of various ages at the Burt Township Youth Center. Volunteer assistants may be recruited to help with outings and activities. To be considered, please complete an application along with a brief program outline and submit it to the Burt Township Clerk's office; please note that our goal is to open the Youth Center by July 1st. Application forms can be obtained from the Township Office or on line at www.burttownship.com/employment. Applicants wishing to see what is available at the Youth Center can contact Sandee Sibbald or Kay Wampler at the township office 494-2381 to arrange a walk-through of the facility.

Emergency Medical Personnel and Firemen:  If you are interested in a position with the Ambulance or Fire Depts., please contact the Township Office (906) 494-2381.  If you need training or certifications, most classes are offered through Burt Township.  

Volunteer Openings on Boards, Commissions and Committees:

Cemetery Committee has an opening for a volunteer to help make recommendations on policies, upgrades, and fees.

Planning Commission has one opening.
